Who does not need a Tourist Visa to enter Canada?

Andorra, the Antilles and Bermuda, Australia, Austria, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brunei, Cyprus, Denmark, the United States, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Island, Ireland, Israël, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papoua New Guinea, Portugal, Republic of Korea, St. Kits and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, San Marino, Singapore, Solomon Island, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Samoa Westerner.

- Also people legally admitted in the United States for the permanent residence, who are in possession of their  green card or who can supply another supporting document of their permanent residence.

- British citizens and overseas British citizens, who were re-eligible in United Kingdom.

- Citizens of British dependent territories, who got the British citizenship by birth, progeny, registration or naturalization in one of the British dependent terretories such as:  Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Mount Serra of St Hellène, and Turks and Caicos Islands.

- People having a special valid administrative passport, published by the government of the special administrative region of Hong-Kong of the People's Republic of China.

- People having papers or shipment documents emitted by the Holy See.

If you meet with one or several of the criteria mentioned above, then you are authorized to stay in Canada. To obtain an extension you have to leave Canada and begin again the request or tempt directly on place.

Transit visa for Canada:

Sometimes, a stop of 48 hours for a passenger in stopover can entail the necessity of a transit visa. The list of countries from which people have to apply for a visa to visit Canada is the same in the case of a transit visa.
