Canada is a large country with not so much population. It consists of several provinces and districts. Some of these provinces have special programs to bring foreign qualified workers to Canada. This article will be about a special program that the district of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada, has set up. And about how one can get a permanent residence in Manitoba for skilled workers.
Apply online for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
The application is made online on the Internet, and there are some steps you need to follow:
Step 1:
To register in the program online, you have to create an account with a valid e-mail address. The link for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is here. If you don't understand English very well, you can change the language of the site on the upper right.
Stage 2:
Once you have signed up for an account, go to your e-mail box and confirm your registration. After your registration is confirmed, you can connect to the site and begin to complete the form and to attach with it a file containing your scanned documents, which will be your evidences. You are not obliged to fill in your application at one time, because you save your information and then close the session and return there when you wish, within 90 days from the creation of your account. The application form is divided into 9 sections:
1/ Personal information:
Inculdes the applicant's personal information, as well as, the people who accompanies him/her such as: spouse and children.
2/ Education:
Includes the number of secondary, postsecondary and university years of schooling. It also includes names of the high school establishment and of the university.
3/ Employment:
It includes your work experinces in the past 5 years. Or more years, if you think that it can help you to make your case be accpeted.
4/ Application History:
This section includes all your old or previous working visa applications for Canada even if you recieved negative answers from the Canadian embassy or consulate when you applied. You also have to mention your previous stays in Canada.
5/ Relative and friends:
In this section you will provide details of all your close friends or their parents who are living in Canada, including Manitoba district.
6/ Language skills:
Here, you will have to mention the results of the examination of language skills in French, as well as the score of self-assessment for French and English (generally 20 for French and 5 for English). You also need to mention the number of years of practice of the main language.
7/ Adaptability:
It includes:
* Profession desired in Manitoba.
* Job offer: check no if you have no one.
* Asset: the money which you possess in cash at the bank, or real property, investments or other.
* Debts: mortgage, ready or other.
* Clear value: the calculation is made alone.
* Establishment plan: resumes the information that you have already filled in the plan establishment plan for the exploratory visit application: your reasons for immigrating to Manitoba, Winnipeg, your plans before and after immigration.
8/ Forms and Documents:
For sections 1- 6 mentioned below, you go to uploader of scanned documents in section 8. You have to supply supporting documents for the information, which you entered in each step of the online application. You can click on "Modify" to obtain a description of the required supporting documents and how to upload them:
1- Passport, birth certificate, form of self-assessment (scale of points), invitation to submit an application for the MPNP.
2- Diplomas and transcripts (academic records.)
3- Work certificate specifying the post and the missions.
4- The plane ticket, customs seal, etc., proving the stay (s)
5- A results certificate of TEF Canada
6- A bank statements
7-8- Other possible documents which can support your case.
9- Review and submit.
Step3:
In this step, you will electronically send your application:
A page recapitulates the data and the missing documentary evidences before electronic sending of the application. And when everything is supplied, you will be able to send the application. You will receive an e-mail confirming the sending of your application.
Step4:
Within 48 hours, another e-mail will be sent to you with a number of file to confirm the reception of the file by the Immigration Office of Manitoba.
