So many students from arround the world wish to study in the USA, but because of the high tuition fees of American universities, they cannot step ahead towards getting a US diploma. Students as such, can choose another option to realize their dream of studying in the USA. It is through getting a scholarship.
A lot of American universities and states, provide scholarships to students from other countries, so to be able to come and study in the USA. The State of Georgia, as many other USa states, has a special scholarship program, which called:The Georgia Rotary Student Program.
"The Georgia Rotary Student Program" is a scholarship to study in the United States, granted annually by Georgia's District of the Rotary International to approximately 80 young people wishing to study in the United States in one of the state universities of Georgia.
This scholarship addresses the students wishing to follow undergraduate studies in the USA. It covers for one year tuition fees, meals, book allowance and college dorm. And you, the student, have to pay for your medical insurance, transportation, taxes and spending money ($3000).
The conditions to be eligible to the Georgia Rotary Program:
1- Your age should be between 18 and 25 years.
2- Have not studied in the USA before.
3- You should be single.
4- You should be an applicant of under-graduate program to be accpeted.
5- You may or may not the son or daughter of a Rotarian.
The requirements to apply to the Georgia Rotary Program:
1- Submit a completed application form due October, 1st.
2- Provide your school transcripts translated into English.
3- Photos.
4- Recommendation letters.
5- Recommendation letter from Rotary.
6- Applicable tests.
