Jake Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarships, is a grant given to students who have studied in Community College in the United States and obtained an Associate's Degree and wishing to pursue their studies to obtain a Bachelor's degree in a university in the United States.
The maximum amount of the Jake Kent Cooke Foundation is US$30 000 a year and is attributed during two or three years. The exact amount of the scholraship varies according to the cost of the studies and the other possible perceived scholaraships.
Each year, approximately 50 students receive the Jake Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship. And to deserve this scholarship, you are required to fulfill certain conditions:
A- You should be a student in a community college.
B- You should be in the second year of Associate's Degree or recently awarded a diploma.
C- You wish to study in a university in the United States to obtain a Bachelor's degree.
D- You should have a GPA of 3.50
E- You should have a real financial need to be able to study in university in the USA.
F- Have never been appointed by the representative of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation of it Community College.
The application process to the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship, has to be made, necessarily, via the representative of the Foundation within the Community College in which you, the student, follow your study course.
