If you want to find a job in Germany, then you will need to prepare yourself very well. One important thing that you should do before you apply to any job, is that you have a good CV written in German language well presented. In this article, I am going to talk about the different parts of a German CV.


A German CV is composed of different parts:


1- The civil status of the candidate (Persönliche Daten): 


It includes:


- First and last names. 

- Date and place of birth.

- Mail address.

- Phone number. 

- E-mail address.

-  Marital status.

- A photograph.


2- Training and educational diplomas (Ausbildung):


It inculdes your educational history from primary school to your last level achieved. And you inculde dates, names of educational establishments, and also the obtained diplomas.



A/ Primary school and secondary school (Schulausbildung): the dates and the names of the educational establishments are enough for this section. We indicate the name of the last diploma obtained. 



B/ University (Studium): you also indicate the date, the name of the establishment as well as the diplomas obtained. "Abschluss" with the name of the diploma. Example: a B.A.; B.SC



C/ Voccational or Apprenticeship (Berufsausbildung)



3- Work or proffessional experience (Berufserfahrung):

Contains all the the internships and training courses (Praktika) that you made, as well as the various exercised jobs. You need to indicate the date of the position occupied, the name of the company, its location, the function which you occupied when you were in that job



4- Activities and Interests (Sonstiges):

- It contains your interests, language skills (Fremdsprachen,) computer skills, and your travels and stays abroad.



- Linguistic stays (Studienreise): you should indicate the place and the duration of the stay.



- Driving licence (Führerschein)
